I only have 400 sq feet and a lot of it is 4″ wide stair treads that butt up against painted rail posts so I’m planning to brush & roll. What type of brush, roller size and nap type do you recommend for applying TWP 201?
Do not roll. Use brushes or stain pads: https://www.twpstain.com/wood-and-deck-stains/application-tools/brushes-stain-pads
What is correct way to clean your Chapin Pump Sprayer after using to apply TWP 116
Mineral Spirits.
Can the same sprayer be used for the cleaner/brightener and then also for the stain?
Yes, as long as you clean it and dry it when switching from prep products and the TWP stain.
After spraying on stain, do you still have to “brush” the stain in?
To ensure an even application, yes.
