NOTE: You must use PermaBond as a primer coat.
DeckRevive is a one-of-a-kind polymer coating that resurfaces and restores aging wood decks, walkways, steps and more, allowing you to enjoy your existing structure for years! Just add one gallon of gloss exterior acrylic latex paint of any color and roll on with everyday paint tools.
- locks down splinters
- fills in cracks
- slip resistant
- environmentally friendly
COVERAGE: Depending on the condition of the wood and the application technique, two coats will cover approximately 200 square feet per Deck Revive Kit.
Unlike other “Deck Resurfacer” type products, Deck revive is breathable, allowing moisture to escape.
A Superior Deck Coating – Why Deck Coatings Fail?
- Wood begins to degrade at the logging stage The “lignin” (organic polymer in wood) eventually fails and releases along the grain causing cracking and splitting
- Cracks then allow moisture to enter the wood
- Wood then begins to delaminate and splinter and eventually, due to rot, will disintegrate
Traditional deck stains, deck paints and deck sealers just put new color on old splinters, cracks and nailheads and have to be re-applied annually. Deck Revive actually fills in cracks and knots, locks down splinters and nailheads, and provides a new slip-resistant textured surface that lasts for years.
Our Deck Revive coating will give you a new durable, scuff, stain and fire-resistant surface that requires zero to little maintenance. So easy to apply with everyday paintbrushes and rollers and tools clean up with water. Dries quickly for minimal time-out-of-service. Can be applied in the morning and enjoyed that evening.
Your Deck Revive kit contains a liquid component and a dry component. To these, you add one gallon of ANY color of exterior latex paint. Color choice is unlimited – you can have any color your paint store can mix up!
Deck Revive is the environmentally friendly choice. It is water-based, VOC-free and non-toxic. When you refurbish existing wood structures with Deck Revive, you prolong their service life and keep them out of landfills.
Save thousands over the cost of replacement or annual deck stain and deck seal maintenance when you choose Deck Revive. You’ll also save time — so you can spend more of it enjoying your outdoor living spaces, not maintaining them!
So take your shoes off and start enjoying your old deck with our revolutionary resurfacing coating. Your family, friends, and kids can run around splinter free for years to come.
Hi
I am interested in this product. I would like to know if it can be applied to a mahogany deck?
It can but make sure you use the Permabond for the primer.
Can I order the 1/4 kit as well as the full kit from you?
Only comes in full kits now.
Once applied, how often would this product need reapplication and what preparation would be required for additional coats?
Redo as needed every 3-5 years. Pressure wash for prep when reapplying.
Hello, I am going to have to use a clear penetrating epoxy sealer for a few shallow soft spots on my wood deck. Will permabond adhere to the cpes once it is fully cured?
We live on the Washington state coast and the temperatures haven’t been above the 60’s all summer with high humidity. Misty showers pop up all the time. My questions is if I apply the permabond and we get enough moisture to prevent the application of the Deck Revive how soon can I reapply the permabond after it dries out? I have enough of the Permabond to reapply. With the humidity I will need to get a very early start to complete all the applications in one day and there is a chance of a misty shower poping up.
I am using multiple Deck Revive kits to do our deck… after mixing each should I box the kits together before applying?
Thanks!
You can reapply the Permabond if needed, just make sure it is dry. Do not mix all buckets of Deck Revive at once. They have a pot life.

Really need to know if the Permabond will adhere to the penetrating sealer once the sealer is completely cured
Honestly have no idea as it has not been attempted. If you need to fill something, use the Quickrete patch as in the picture.
I have an existing deck that is part wood and part composite. I wish to change the color on both components to match. Can this product be used on composite decking?
No, it has not been tested for composites so we do not know if it will work correctly or not.

you have to add the gallon of paint to this kit. It will not work without it.

Thanks for your help
The texture is in the mix and cannot be removed. You can mix with any brand or color. It does have to be a Acrylic Gloss Latex Paint.
I previously put Behr Deckover on my deck. I have removed all chipping portions and have sanded(dulled) the rest. Can I apply Deck Revive over this product?
If you use the Permabond first and apply the Deck Revive it will adhere to the Behr Deckover so the Deck Revive would not peel. What you cannot do is “fix” the Behr Deckover where it is still intact. Meaning you would still be at the mercy of possibly prematurely failing based on the adhesion of the Behr Deckover to the wood, not the Deck Revive to the Behr Deckover.

You will have to clean lightly and prep with the Perma Bond first.

Each full Deck Revive kit covers 200 sq. feet for two coats.

You can use it over a semi-transparent stain as long as you prep first by pressure washing to remove all dirt and loose/peeling stain that is currently on the wood.
We are considering purchasing this produce. Is there a guarantee as to how long this product will last? If and when it needs to be replaced what does it take to remove residue.
There is no guarantee regarding how long the product will last, although its life expectancy is 3-5 years, at which point the coating integrity is sound but it will begin to show wear, color fade, etc. A power wash to clean and remove anything loose and a re-application of PermaBond and then whichever Revive product desired (Deck/Dock/Concrete).
