I would clean and brighten for the prep and apply 1 coat of the stain this time. You would need about 6-8 gallons.
The decks were constructed in early October of last year.
BP, is this new wood?
I have top and bottom rails. 12 each on the stairs about 36″ a piece. Spindles are metal.
BP, Do you have railings? Need to measure those and the number of steps.
Have a large, ceder deck that is supported by 6×6 posts. Main deck is 12′ x 50′. Second deck is 8′ x 8′. One set of stairs that walks down one level.

I would try the RAD Stain Stripper to help remove and possibly sand the rest off. Once done, stain with the TWP 1500.
I have used Sikkens on my western cedar deck. It is flaking in areas and I wondered what you would recommend to remove the Sikkens and reapply a protective coating that will make it look good
TWP is not designed for exotic hardwoods. It can be used on them with decent results. In general though, your wood type will require an annual application of stain.
I am refinishing my Angel’s Heart/Angelim deck. Initial application was Cabot’s ATO. Very dissatisfied. All the boards have been stripped and sanded. Do you feel that TWP 100 a good choice or is the wood too dense?
