I live in Atlanta and still am not sure if the TWP100 or TWP1500 would be best. Any suggestions?

That is per gallon. Each gallon covers 300-400 sq. feet. No free shipping and there are not dealers in your area.
What is VOC mean?
We live in Florida. Is that high or low VOC?
We just laid down a 1300 sq. ft. deck with 2×6 rounded edge pressure treated pine.
There is maybe 4 hours of sun on part of the deck, the rest in shade and some areas damp.
Is “Deck Sealer” the same is “Stain”?
Is “Natural” the same as “Clear”
What best to use as a “High Quality Deck Sealer with UV, mildew and fungus protection”?
Also, we have purchased panels of bamboo to build a fence.
Can we use the same Sealer/Stain as we will use on Deck?
ALSO, I would like sales person to call me. Left a message on your recording. Thanks.
-Volatile Organic compounds
-High VOC for FL
-You would want the 100 Series but read this about new wood:
http://www.twpstainhelp.com/prepping-new-wood-for-twp-stains/
-Stains are sealers as well. Not all sealers are stains
-Natural is tinted. Clear is not
-No you cannot use the TWP 100 on Bamboo

What product would you recommend for this. We live in the Kansas City area and the playset will be full sun from late morning til sunset.
My dad has given me a partial can of clear, the playset is pretty dull at the moment. Will the clear give it a fresher look or should I look at a color for a more natural look?
Also would you recommend sanding or power washing prior to application?
Clear will not enhance the color. Use a color and use the 100 Series. Prep with the Gemini Restore Kit and pressure washing.

It is very gray. It doesnt have to be perfect, I just need something with a little color that will help with rot. Pressure washing or sanding the wood isn’t really feasible due to location. Which stain would be recommended and how much?
You have to prep and clean the wood. You cannot apply a stain over the gray/oxidized wood. Use the Gemini Restore Kit as the prep before applying the TWP.

If the color has faded but I want to leave it, will the first coat of TWP have penetrated deep enough to protect the wood? In other words, is the maintenance coat just for looks? What goes in the wood, stays in the wood?
Not just for looks but for continuing protections as well. It will not protect forever with just the initial coat.

I just stained my pine siding with 100. The wood is about 70 years old but looked and smelled new after I conditioned and brightened. Since the 100 penetrates into the wood, isn’t it going to stay in the wood no matter how long I wait to do the maintenance coat? In other words, is the purpose for a maintenance coat merely for surface looks after it fades?

Not exactly. TWP sheds water, not necessarily beads water.

So when should the 1500 Series be used? If 100 can be used is it always recommended over the 1500 series?
Use the TWP 1500 in low VOC states, older decks, or when in full sun. Use the TWP 100 if in a high VOC state, and or the wood is newer.
Is the 100 better to use and will it last longer?
They last about the same. 100 penetrates better so it wears better. 1500 holds color a little longer. Both will need to be redone every 2 or 3 years on average.
2-3 years on vertical cedar siding?
2-3 years on horizontals. Twice as long on verticals.

If I pour the gallon into a 5-gallon container, can I use the brush to wipe out the pigment that’s left on the bottom of the can and then swish the pigmented brush around in the stain that’s in the 5-galloner? Or something else? Many thanks.
We have a lot of shade. About half of the deck gets 3-4 hours of sun daily. We have a lot of mold or mildew-it looks green in some areas. There is also a lot of gray. We pressure wash and stain almost every year with semi-transparent. Many different products have been used in the past. We plan to use your stripper, pressure wash and brighten.
I am still somewhat confused as to what product to use to clean my deck. There is very little original stain (not yours) left on the surface. Most of the color left is on the railing balusters. I have already cleaned with a deck cleaner (Olympic) with mixed results. There is NO mold, mildew or graying of the wood. It appears clean, but somewhat blotchy because of residual stain. I am going to use your 1500 on this project. Should I use your restore kit OR the safety strip. It should come off before using the TWP. Shoot for 95% removal. If you still need to get more off, then use the Restore A Deck Stripper for the prep and pressure washing. Brighten wood when done.

Prep first with the Gemini Restore Kit and stain with any of the TWP colors that you like. You have to color in your stain for UV protection.
